April 23, 2026 - All STEM and Aviation Academy students are invited to attend a field trip to iFLY in Paramus for a day of physics and fun at the indoor skydiving facility. Students gain an understanding of air resistance, gravity and body control, comparing their predicted terminal velocity with their actual, guided flight in the tunnel. Students receive a flight suit, goggles, and helmets as they "feel" balanced forces in a wind tunnel that blows up to 185 mph. We are taking only the first 20 students that register. Cost is $100 which pays for the bus and admission (two flights).
